Acai bars are a key part of an active healthy lifestyle . Acai bars filled with nutrition, fiber and Acai Berry. This snack is easy to eat with a beautiful texture and best of all heathy for you.
- 1 cup (150g) self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup (115g) caster sugar
- 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
- 125g butter, chopped
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup (100g) chocolate chips
- 2 table spoon Hearty Acai powder
Method Acai Bars
Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a baking pan and line with non-stick baking paper.
1. Sift flour into a large bowl. Add sugar and rolled oats.
2. Stir the butter and honey in a small saucepan over a low heat until melted.
3. Add wet mixture into dry ingredients (2.) with the egg and stir to combine.
4. Add HEARTY ACAI powder and stir to combine.
5. Add chocolate chips
6. Spoon into pan and level it evenly, about 2cm. thickness.
7. bake for 20 minutes, 180 celcius.
8. When it is ready the surface should look dry. Leave to cool on wire rack, then cut into 3*9cm rectangles to serve.
